Pls submit questions by June 17th
Waimea Community Association will host a virtual candidate forum to help the community learn more about the individuals seeking election for Hawaiʻi County Prosecutor. Candidates will be calling in individually over the course of the forum to introduce themselves, share their platform, answer community questions and state their position on specific topics. The event will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23. This forum will be live-streamed on the WCA Facebook Page and preceded by the County Council Candidate Forum from 5 pm - 6 pm. The livestream will be recorded and uploaded to our YouTube page for later viewing.
Candidates were called and invited based on the date they formally submitted nomination papers to the Office of Elections. They were given a choice as to time preference in this order.
Questions are welcome by June 17, 2020 and may be submitted to: WaimeaCommunityAssociation [at] gmail.com. WCA cannot guarantee all questions will be asked and answered due to time constraints.
