The public is invited to join us at the next general meeting of the League of Women Voters of Hawai`i County will be held in person and via Zoom on Saturday, March 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. (arrive by 10:00), at West Hawai'i Civic Center in Kailua-Kona.
Scott Nago, Chief Elections Officer, and Raymund de Vega, Voter Services, of the State of Hawai'i Office of Elections will present on the digital voter guide and other new initiatives for the 2024 Elections.
SPEAKER BIOS
Scott Nago
Scott Nago has over 26 years of election experience and has been the Chief Election Officer since 2010. As Chief Election Officer he is charge of the Office of Elections, which provides secure, accessible, and convenient election services to all citizens statewide. The office’s responsibilities include voter education and the printing and counting of ballots.
Raymund de Vega
Raymund de Vega has worked in the Voter Services section of the Office of Elections since 2014. He specializes in voter education and outreach, including messaging the office’s media campaigns and working with community groups. Those attending in person should plan to arrive by 9:50 a.m. at the site, West Hawai`i Civic Center in Kailua-Kona. Light refreshments will be served.
