Speaker: Alisa Kaplan, Executive Director of Reform for Illinois
Learn how campaign funding works, how funding is regulated, and what reforms are needed. Find answers to your questions: What are PACs, Super PACs, and “dark money?” How much time out of their workday do legislators spend fund-raising? How can ordinary citizens find out how much money is being donated, and by whom, to candidates and legislators?
This program will be held in person at the Santori Library on the first floor and will also be available to view virtually by registering on the Aurora Public Library's website: https://aurora.libnet.info/events
