Ways to Volunteer
- Register voters at a Voter Registrar at community or high school events
- Serve as a Judge of Election or Poll Watcher
- Observe and report on local government as a Board Observer
- Moderate or assist at Candidate Forums
- Manage election data for the Illinois Voter Guide and Vote 411
- Support Student Mock Elections at local high schools
- Write letters to representatives or your local paper on issues you care about
- Take on an advocacy role at the local, state, or national level
- Join our Board and help shape the League's future
- Help recruit and welcome new members
- Coordinate meetings and arrange speakers for League events
- Join our Communications team — newsletter, social media, and website

LWV's nonpartisan Candidate Forums allow candidates to meet voters and answer questions in a structured, nonpartisan forum setting. LWV's forums fill a critical information gap for voters in many local communities.
