LWVIL Education Fund Donation Form
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs):
If you have a Donor Advised Fund through a brokerage firm, you can recommend a grant to the LWVIL Education Fund. Log in to your DAF account through your brokerage’s website or portal and use the LWVIL Education Fund Tax ID: 36-3037231 to direct your grant. Please mention you want your gift earmarked for the League of Women Voters of Roselle-Bloomingdale Area.
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from an IRA:
If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution directly from your Traditional IRA to the LWVIL Education Fund — up to $111,000 per individual in 2026. If you file taxes jointly, and your spouse is age 70½ or older, they may also donate up to $111,000 from their IRA. (confirmed by IRS Notice 2025-67). This amount is indexed for inflation and may change annually — confirm the current limit with your IRA custodian.
A QCD counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and is excluded from your taxable income. For some donors, reducing taxable income through a QCD may also help lower Medicare IRMAA surcharges and reduce taxation of Social Security benefits.
To make a QCD, contact your IRA custodian directly through their website, app, or customer service line and request a QCD payable to the LWVIL Education Fund (Tax ID: 36-3037231). Please mention you want your gift earmarked for the League of Women Voters of Roselle-Bloomingdale Area. Each brokerage has its own form or online process for this.
Thank you for supporting our work to strengthen democracy in the Roselle–Bloomingdale Area.
Because every donor’s financial situation is different, please consult your tax or financial professional for guidance regarding your individual tax circumstances.
