Presented by Amanda Milligan, District Director for the Second Judicial District Department of Correctional Services.

Community-based Corrections provides a vital and often misunderstood service in our communities.  This presentation will provide information on the role of probation, parole, and work release in assisting individuals on their path towards desistance from criminal activity.  In addition, information will be provided on how community-based corrections can prevent individuals from experiencing incarceration and provide needed assistance to those returning to the community after a period of incarceration.
