 This forum is designed to inform prospective candidates for school committee and community members who would like their communities to be well served by effective school committees. Both groups need good background information about the roles and responsibilities of school committee members and the kinds of laws, policies, support resources and training that help school committees to function effectively.

Our panelists will present this information and discuss specific strategies and guidelines for working as a school committee member and working together as a committee. They will also discuss how to prepare for being a school committee candidate.  There will be time for questions from the audience via chat.
