Hello, Michigan League members. 

At 7:00 pm on July 22, we are offering a Board of Canvassers (BOC) observer zoom training with Attorney Mark Brewer. For the past several years, we have been using the recording of the 2022 training, but we all need to be aware of the 2024 updates.

As we prepare for the August and November elections, our observation of the county BOCs is more important than ever. The League and our democracy partners depend on our observers to be the eyes and ears of this important piece of the election process. 

If you cannot join us on the 22nd, the training will be recorded. All of our 2024 observers will be required to attend the new training or watch the recording so they are up to speed on the role and responsibility of a BOC observer.
