The League is 106 years strong this February.  The League was born out of women’s long, arduous fight to win the right to vote. It took 72 years and multiple generations of women refusing to give up on their right to be part of our democracy -- an effort that ultimately convinced enough men to recognize that women should have a voice in government and to vote for this right.
