Join women around the country for a Women's Wave March on Saturday, October 8 as we demand our rights and send a loud and clear message all across the U.S. and in our own community. We will gather at Bridgeview Park in Houghton at 1: p.m. and march across the Bridge.

Women across the country in Washington DC, metropolitan cities, and small towns are taking to the streets. In the Copper Country, that means walking across the Portage Lake Lift Bridge carrying signs. The Women's March organizers state that we will "harness the power of our collective voices."
Around 250 events will take place in the United States in rallies for reproductive rights, to "Remember in November" and to send a strong message about women's rights. Please no obscene signs.
