Position

The League of Women Voters of Connecticut supports comprehensive, community-based mental health systems for children and adults.

We support the Ventura County Medical Center as the essential element of the Ventura County Health Care Agency.

The League believes that everyone should have access to health care, including care for mental illness and substance use disorders.

Los Angeles, CA – The League of Women Voters of Los Angeles will host two free regional meetings in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley on the Affordable Care Act: What's Happening Now to California's Health Care System? The events will feature special guest speakers from Insure the Uninsured Project. Together we will examine the changes occurring in health care, including how to access the Exchange-Covered California.
