We host hundreds of events and programs every year to educate voters about candidates in thousands of federal, state and local races, as well as distribute millions of educational materials about state and local elections.
BRIEF SUMMARY: The LWVDV supports public libraries as a basic service of government with adequate funding by local, state, and federal governments and supports free access by all persons to public library services.
Each year the Syracuse Metro League of Women Voters publishes "Who's Who - A Guide to Your Elected Officials". It contains contact information on local officials of Onondaga County.
For the first time since 2009, the June Carmichael Award for outstanding service to the League was presented, to Karen Bufka from the Northeast Kingdom group.
