LWV of Alachua County is joining LWVFL in supporting the Florida Right to Clean Water campaign (RTCW), which is a constitutional amendment to clarify our priorities and a civil action to enforce our right to clean and healthy waters.

We’ve entered 2023 and exited The Year of the Huge Elections. As such, your hard-working Board has already pivoted our attention to important local issues and preparing voters for the 2024 elections. This month the Board will have an in-person (yipppeee!) planning session.
LWV of Alachua County will have a table at the Maya van Rossum presentation on Friday, Jan 6th, at 6 pm at the Civic Media Center, 433 South Main St. Contact Janice if you are interested in volunteering.
