Ensure fair treatment under the law for all persons. In transition to a reformed system, support provisions for unauthorized immigrants already in the country to earn legal status.

LWV Pasadena Area members interested in learning more about immigration and advocacy options for immigration reform are encouraged to join the LWVC Immigration Interest Group.  League members from across California meet regularly via Zoom to hear from speakers representing organizations active in border issues and immigration reform, to discuss and evaluate current relevant state legislation and executive actions, and to share developments in their localities.
