Increasing the language accessibility of voting materials allows voters to feel confident in voting and become educated and informed as they vote on high-priority issues in their communities. Tell your representatives to pass the Expanding the Voluntary Opportunities for Translations in Elections (VOTE) Act (HR 8770) to increase access to translated voting materials.

Something particularly dreadful is happening in Alachua Co about the single-member district ballot initiative. There is an aggressive misinformation campaign going to convince Black voters that local Black leaders and the NAACP are in favor of single districts. The opposite is true.

This Election Day—November 8, 2022—Connecticut voters have the power to make early voting possible in future elections. Right now, Connecticut is one of only four states that do not offer early, in-person voting for all eligible voters; however, if this amendment passes, the legislature will be able to change that.
This question will be on the ballot: “Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to permit the General Assembly to provide for early voting?” Bringing early voting to Connecticut is a practical way to improve access to the democratic process for everyone.
