Some information such as your Sample Ballot, Polling Places and Early Voting sites won’t be available until closer to the Election. 

Stay informed.  Use this form to sign up for email Election Reminders from the League of Women Voters of Wheaton. For example, we would email you on the key dates listed below.

VOTE BY MAIL – Postmark Changes Voters Need to Know!

  • Mail is postmarked the day that it is processed which can result in at least a 1-2 day delay

  • Vote By Mail Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day to be Counted

    Returning your Ballot close to Election Day?

    • Go inside to the Post Office Counter and request a manual postmark -OR-
    • Drop Off Your VBM Ballot:
      • At the DuPage County Secure Drop Box at 421 N County Farm Road, Wheaton -OR-
      • At any Early Voting Site -OR-
      • At any Polling Place on Election Day

First day to request a Vote By Mail ballot

Sept 24

First day for the DuPage Election Division to mail a ballot to voters who requested one

Sept 24

Some Early Voting Locations open across DuPage County. *

Oct 18

Online Voter Registration Closes 

Oct 19

All Early Voting Locations open across DuPage County.* 

Oct 29

Last day for the Election Division to receive, by mail, a Vote By Mail ballot application

Nov 3

Vote by Mail Ballots must be dropped off at a polling location OR postmarked by Election Day to be counted

Nov 3

Election Day:  In-person voter registration & voting.  Polls are open 6am – 7pm
