The League of Women Voters of Connecticut believes all CT citizens deserve easy and safe access to the elections that will not jeopardize their health. Please join us to urge the Governor to issue an executive order that would eliminate restrictive language in the statutes to allow Absentee Voting during the COVID-19 emergency.

No one should have to choose between voting safely and their health. Please contact your Connecticut Legislators today and urge them to remove all barriers to the use of the absentee ballot by eligible voters in November. *UPDATE* The CT State House of Representatives passed the “no excuse” absentee voting bill for the November Election. The vote on July 23rd on H.B. 6002 was 144-2. The CT State Senate is scheduled to consider and vote on the bill on Tuesday, July 28th.

The judge in Donald J. Trump for President Inc. v. Boockvar on Oct. 10 dismissed the Trump campaign's federal lawsuit — seeking to ban drop boxes but to enable out-of-county poll watchers — in its entirety.
