Learn about plans to protect the Mid-County Groundwater Basin and provide a sustainable water supply. Guest speakers include: Melanie Mow Schumacher, special projects and communications manager for Soquel Creek Water District; Heidi Luckenbach, City of Santa Cruz deputy water director; Darcelle Pruitt, senior planner for groundwater sustainability for the Regional Water Management Foundation. The forum will include a presentation by each speaker followed by a question-and-answer period. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments served at 10:00, program begins at 10:30. Metered parking available in City Hall parking lot next door.
