Since 2020, the League of Women Voters has partnered with Power the Polls to recruit poll workers. As Leagues prepare for upcoming local elections and gear up for a busy election season, it is critical to recruit poll workers to ensure safe, free, and fair elections for all voters.
National Poll Worker Recruitment Day August 11, 2026, has passed, but there is still time to sign up to be a poll worker in Delaware County.

Join the League of Women Voters of Delaware County ILO for a private tour of the historic Thunderbird Lodge on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM located at 41 Rose Valley Rd, Media PA.

See an historic and architectural wonder – The Thunderbird Lodge - in Delco’s Rose Valley. Learn about this arts and crafts landmark and gathering place of Utopian and progressive thinkers.

A private tour will be followed by a light lunch featuring a WaWa hoagie or WaWa salad. The cost of $25.00 includes the tour and lunch.

International Relations Study Group - December 2026

The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association.

On December 8, 2026 the discussion will be a review of Chapter 7 of 2026 Great Decisions titled; U.S. Engagement with Africa.
NOTE: Due to a date conflict the Group will not meet in November.
