The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association.

This month on November 11, 2025 the discussion will be a review of Chapter 8 American Policy in the Middle East: Taking Stock and Looking Ahead..

Public Health Programs & Policy in Challenging Times is the Hot Topic presentation on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Noon via Zoom. The presenters are Rosemarie Halt, Chair Delaware County Board of Health and Health Policy Consultant PA Lead Free Promise Project and Lora Werner, Director Delaware County Department of Health. As experts in public health they will give an overview of potential program adjustments that may happen under the current state and federal administrations as it impacts county public health in Pennsylvania.

Join us for our in-person 2026 Gathering: Looking Forward & Celebrating Our League on Saturday, January 10 at The Springhaven Club 600 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA. The purpose of our gathering is to celebrate our efforts in 2025 and share plans going forward in 2026. We will also have a presentation on the LWVUS Unite and Rise: An Initiative to Defend Democracy. The event starts at 11:30 AM with lunch served at Noon in the Large Dining Room.
