County election officials to speak on election threats and integrity at LWV Second Saturday program
Guest speakers Gregory Diaz, Nevada County’s Registrar of Voters, and Natalie Adona, Assistant Clerk-Recorder/Registrar, will join in covering the topic, “Fair Elections: Threats and Assurances” at the League of Women Voters of Western Nevada County’s program on Saturday, March 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The program will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains at 246 Church Street in Grass Valley.
Diaz and Adona will address voter intimidation, voter fraud, and election fraud, defining these terms and giving clear real-world examples of federal election crimes. They will touch upon their roles as election officials and the role of the public in ensuring the integrity of our elections.
The program is one of the League’s Second Saturday series of programs. The doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the program starts promptly at 10:00 a.m.
