State regulations now permit all citizens 18 years of age, with 30 days of residency in the school district, to register and vote in school elections. School elections are governed by the State Education Law, not Election Law, and much of the law's interpretation and application is regulated by the individual districts. Citizens should contact their school district office for specific time and place of registration and elections.
