Membership in the League of Women Voters, the most respected and effective grassroots organization in the country, is open to men and women aged 16 years and up. Our members make a visible difference by serving as community leaders using their experience to create positive, lasting change in our communities. As a member, you will:

- get exclusive civic information you can trust
- know that your membership dues add to our grassroots strength and our financial resources
The League of Women Voters of Humboldt County (LWVHC) is a nonpartisan political organization 501(c)(4). Membership dues are not tax deductible. Limited student scholarships are available. Please contact us for more information.
If you’re able to, we’ll be very grateful if you join at a higher level to fund our work. The League of Women Voters Education Fund allows the League to fund projects that encourage the active and informed participation of citizens in government and increase understanding of major public policy issues.
The LWVHC Education Fund is a 501(c)(3) and is administered by the Humboldt Area Foundation (HAF) and provides support for our citizen education, public engagement and research activities in our community.
Contributions to the LWVHC Education Fund are tax deductible.
