What Is Voter’s Edge?
Voter’s Edge is the League of Women Voters of California’s website that allows voters to get a personalized ballot with information on candidates, measures, and who supports them. Voters can check where, when, and how to vote.
Would You Like to Work on Voter’s Edge?
We currently are recruiting new volunteers because of the sheer number of potential candidates running for local office. It is important that we do all we can to provide voters with easy access to candidate information and to provide candidates with an opportunity to get their message across.
What Is Entailed?
Volunteers research candidate contact information, reach out to candidates, and encourage them to participate in Voter’s Edge. Candidates receive direct access to Voter’s Edge so they can control their own stories. The information they can provide includes their biographies, top priorities, photos, policy videos, endorsements, and detailed information about who funds their campaigns. All participating candidates must provide at least the following:
- Name
- Profession
- Top three priorities
- Photo
