The United States Election Assistance Commission (EAC) has designated August 23, 2023, as National
Poll Worker Recruitment Day. This day of action is meant to assist poll worker recruitment efforts in
communities across the country.
The Pennsylvania Department of State will join the EAC on August 23 and promote Pennsylvania’s
efforts to recruit poll workers. We are encouraging everyone to join by creating your own posts using
the toolkit below or by following the PA Department of State on Facebook, Instagram, Threads Twitter,
and LinkedIn, and sharing our poll worker posts when you see them.
