Every registered voter in Virginia is eligible to vote prior to election day--no reason is required.

Pick your primary

Virginia has open primaries, so you can choose to vote in either the Republican or Democratic primary.  Voters will be asked if they want to vote in the Democratic or Republican Primary.

The following primaries are being held:
