Agreement Overview

This Service Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which the League of Women Voters of California (hereafter referred to as the "LWVC") provides the LWVC One Voice Social subscription service to [Subscribing League] (hereafter referred to as the "Subscribing League"). This service is designed to support California based local Leagues by providing ongoing, high-quality social media content to engage and grow their followers, alleviating the burden of content creation.

Summary of Service

The LWVC One Voice Social program aims to assist local Leagues in maintaining a consistent social media presence. The program offers pre-designed social media posts, sharing LWVC content directly to Local League Facebook and Instagram accounts. 

Subscribers will receive:

  • 6 pre-designed posts per channel, per month for Facebook and Instagram (12 total posts per month). Posts will be identical for LWVC and the Subscribing League to maintain a unified messaging approach.

  • Content will focus on themes such as membership, voter education and outreach, policy/advocacy updates and actions, holidays, celebrations, League news, etc. Direct fundraising asks/solicitations will not be posted to Subscribing League channels.

Implementation Process

  1. Registration: Upon completion of this form and receipt of payment, the Subscribing League will receive a welcome email from the LWVC within three business days, including instructions for sharing credentials for social media accounts. Content will begin populating the Subscribing League’s social media channels no later than one month after subscription.

  2. Setup Period: The first month will serve as a setup period beginning on the date this MOU is signed and payment is received. This period allows the LWVC to access the necessary credentials and load content for posting. No separate setup fee will be charged; the first month’s payment covers all setup costs.

  3. Permission to Access: By signing this agreement, the Subscribing League grants the LWVC permission to post content solely related to the One Voice Social program. The LWVC will not post or create any other content outside of this agreement. Nothing in this agreement prohibits the Subscribing League from posting additional content to their social media channels or removing content posted by the LWVC. The Subscribing League agrees to provide the LWVC with all required login credentials to social media channels, and provide password updates in the event that the Subscribing League changes their passwords. Failure to provide accurate login credentials is the sole responsibility of the Subscribing League.  Failure to provide accurate login credentials will delay content from being posted, but will not alleviate the subscribing League from their subscription fees. 

  4. Content Creation and Personalization: The LWVC will create and upload all content to the specified social media channels. By signing this agreement, the Subscribing League understands and agrees that it will not review content prior to posting and acknowledges that personalized/custom content will not be created by the LWVC.

Subscription Costs

  • Monthly Fee: $80.00 (covering 12 posts across two channels) Monthly fees will be automatically charged to the credit card or ACH provided by the Subscribing League at the time their subscription service is activated.  

  • Annual Fee:$702 (10% discount for paying annually)

Cancellation

The Subscribing League must provide written notice of cancellation at least 30 days in advance. Notice should be sent to lwvc [at] lwvc.org. All fees under this subscription are non-refundable. 

The LWVC may, at its discretion, cancel this program at any time or cancel service of a Subscribing League at any time by providing the Subscribing League 30 days' notice of cancellation. Should the subscription payment of a Subscribing League fail to process, the LWVC will notify the Subscribing League and service will be paused until payment can be brought current and an active payment method placed back on file. If payment is not brought current within 30 days, the LWVC will cancel the Subscribing League’s service. Manual monthly invoicing and check payments are not available.

 

By completing the registration form, you confirm your League's subscription to the LWVC One Voice Social Media Solution and agree to abide by the terms outlined in this Service Agreement. This agreement will remain in effect indefinitely until the service is canceled by the Subscribing League or the LWVC.
