2nd April The Annual Meeting is almost here! It will be on Sunday, May 3 from 12 to 4 pm at the Walter Reed Community Center.
19th March Welcome! March is Women’s History Month—a time to honor the generations of women whose courage, advocacy, and leadership have shaped our democracy. This month holds special meaning for the League of Women Voters, as we reflect on the legacy of the suffrage movement and recommit ourselves to ensuring every voice is heard at the ballot box.
5th March With this newsletter I want to send out to all of you some encouragement and warm support. It’s been a tough few weeks in the news, and the sustained impact can take a toll. I encourage each of you to take good care of yourselves.
19th February Remember to register for our Civic Engagement event on February 16. The LWVAAC Program Meeting is Saturday, March 8, via Zoom.
5th February Transformation is underway this week. 2025 LWVAAC High School Voter Registration is still going on. The book group restarts on February 16.
15th January This is the last newsletter before the onset of Transformation. There is member action needed on this – so please be sure to read information in the second block below. 2025 LWVAAC High School Voter Registration is coming right up!
