In recent years, our board meetings have been held at 3 PM because it's been convenient for many of our members who are retired and do not like to drive at night.

Our board has been discussing changing our meeting times to accommodate working people who may not be able to attend a meeting so early on a weekday. Board members voted and the consensus was that we want to provide opportunities for working members to attend board meetings and that it would be easier to keep track of times--and address night driving concerns--to keep the same time for six months at a stretch.

So, starting Wednesday, April 8, 2026, we'll be meeting at 6 PM in the McChesney Room, Karen Johnson Library.  The McChesney Room was the only meeting room available on Wednesday evenings.  We'll continue meeting at 6 PM from April- September and then switch to 3 PM from October- March. We'll also revisit this decision in six months to see how it's impacted board meeting attendance.

All members are always welcome to attend board meetings. If you'd like to mark your calendars, our board meetings are typically on the second Wednesday of the month.
