Lisa Plencner will talk about legislative apportionment and redistricting at 10:30 am on Sunday, Aug. 19 at Temple Beth-El, 305 W. Madison St., South Bend. Now is the time to establish an independent mechanism to redraw district lines, which would take effect after the 2020 census. Lisa is a past president of LWV South Bend Area and of LWV Indiana. She's conducted a number of talks on redistricting and gerrymandering and has testified at the Indiana Statehouse in support of redistricting reform.
