Meeting Summary:

The Board performed the post-election audit for Issue II, Ravenna City Schools, and the Kent City Council member-at-large Democratic primary. No issues were found.  The remainder of the meeting focused on employee compensation. The Board would like to increase the hourly pay rate. Currently, all employees receive the same hourly wage. Any variances in annual amount are due to overtime, which differs for each employee. The Commissioners are requesting a wage study before considering the request. Job descriptions are necessary before a wage study can be carried out. Clites moved and Suffecool seconded for the Board to research job descriptions in other Ohio counties. The motion passed unanimously. The other option would be to hire a third party to carry out the Commissioner's request.
