Meeting Observed: Mental Health and Recovery Board of Portage County

Meeting Summary:

There was a training presentation on the roles and responsibilities of the Board and its members; new Board Member, Dr. M. Morgon-Minott was introduced; staff reported on Substance Abuse and Treatment Events in the community. The finance committee reported a temporary budget surplus; all member agencies gave their reports. There were no requests to speak  from the public;  a new health care officer at Coleman Health Services was approved; all finance motions were approved.
