Meeting Summary:

The Board discussed a failed attempt to put an issue in support of a lower level of offense in marijuana cases in Kent. It is unclear if the organizers will make an attempt in Spring or in next year’s elections.

The Board also witnessed the verification testing of machines that count ballots.

Also visiting was a new regional representative of the Secretary of State’s office.

Some brief discussion about the number of voters registered and how machines are allocated.
