Join the League of Women Voters and the National Institute for Civil Discourse in a session to learn how to evaluate our values and then act from those values, while understanding the importance of small, intentional actions inside our circles of influence to create ripples. The session will include interactive breakout opportunities and learning on how to use a tool that can help us face the challenges of division in our politics today.

Visit us at the 37th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Birthday Commemoration Sunday, January 19, 2026 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the First Church Media 350 W State Street, Media PA. The Commemoration will be followed by a community dinner and our League of Women Voters will have a voter information table.

The Commemoration organized by the NAACP Media Area Branch and the Media Fellowship House is held in tribute to Dr. King's enduring legacy and his unwavering commitment to a world free of injustice.

Fair Districts PA is organizing a rally and asking for us to gather on the People’s Plaza in Philadelphia, located near Independence Hall, to say, "Give redistricting reform bills a vote." The rally is scheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2026 from Noon to 1:00 PM.

Expect music and re-enactors, and think of Valley Forge as you dress for winter weather.

The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association.

On January 13, 2026 the discussion will be a review of the topics for 2026 and the order of discussion going forward.
