Calling all League members, you are invited to go to Harrisburg May 5 to lobby our local legislators. The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania (LWVPA) will give you, the T-shirt, the talking points, a lunch voucher and the map of Pennsylvania's stunningly ornate capitol. It's worth the trip just to see it.
Legislative Advocate Jodine Mayberry will make appointments with four legislators to visit and will arrange transportation.

LWVPA is hoping for a really good turnout this year. We will be talking about elections, gun safety, health, and environmental issues with our legislators.

The starting point is Chester City Hall 1 E 4th St, Chester, PA 19013 and will end at the Covanta trash incinerator. This environmental justice day is sponsored by Chester Residents Concerned for Quality Living (CRCQL) with the purpose to generate awareness of the pollution from the nation’s largest trash incinerator and its detrimental impacts to the health of residents in the city and across the county.
