The League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County is hosting a Virtual Watch Party on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM to view the webinar League of Women Voters and America's Libraries: Partners to Count On. We will convene on Zoom to watch the hour-long webinar and then remain on Zoom to discuss what we heard and how libraries and our League can be part of a nonpartisan rapid response network to engage, inform, and empower voters.

The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association. The topic for May 2024 is Understanding Indonesia.

The League of Women Voters (LWV) of Pennsylvania Lobby Day is Wednesday, May 8, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Capitol in Harrisburg to collaborate with League members, meet with legislators, and advocate for League priorities like improving elections.

We have arranged meeting with State Sen. Anthony Williams, who represents the eastern portion of Delaware County from Yeadon to Tinicum and part of Philadelphia, and Speaker of the House Joanna McClinton, who represents Darby, Yeadon and part of Philadelphia.
