This is an issue that has been in the news and talked about in the media a lot lately. This will be an opportunity for our members to discuss this important issue and to share their views with one another. The discussion will be facilitated by Jean Weston, Barbara Sperry and Tam St.Claire.

The Jeanette Ross Environment Program for 2024 is Plastic Pollution Crisis in Pennsylvania on Thursday, March 21, 2024, 7:30 PM via Zoom. Kathy Cook, a volunteer speaker for Beyond Plastics, an organizer for the Chester County Environmental Alliance Single-Use Bag Ban Coalition and a Board Member of League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania (LWV) plus a member of our LWV of Central Delaware County will share information from Beyond Plastics, a national organization dedicated to educating the public about plastic pollution and promoting solutions to this problem and discuss the plastic pollution crisis in Pennsylvania and how we all can be a part of reducing the amount of plastic in our environment.
