2 January Join the League of Women Voters of Arlington for a non-partisan Day of Action.The Virginia General Assembly convenes on January 8, and there are many issues up for consideration. This is an opportunity to let your representatives know what you want. There will be booths set up for issues from ERA to redistricting to the removal of excuse-based voting – to name a few. There will also be a Census table and more information on how to help register voters in 2020. Write postcards, send tweets – this is a chance to communicate with legislators on current issues.
