Equal opportunity for high quality education for all students in Fresno County Schools through:
- Long-range significant innovative planning utilizing the total resources of the community
- Improved communication between the schools and the public
- Broad public involvement in implementing racial and socio-economic integration
- Support of a funding system which is adequate, flexible, equitable, reliable; derived from a combination of revenue sources; distributed fairly to insure that all students have equal access to public education
- Integrated schools that recognize all students as cooperating equals assured of equal status in the school system
- Some techniques to be considered: In-service training of school staff in multicultural values Increased multi-ethnic content in the curriculum for all students
- Provision of effective human relations committees com posed of students, teachers, staff and parents at school site
- Availability of quality preschool programs for all children
