Coast Team Interviews Our State Representatives
Every year, at this time, the LWV-California, through each individual chapter, conducts interviews with each chapter’s State Legislators. Questions are developed by LWV-California and all Legislators are asked the same questions. Background information is provided by the LWV-California for each question. This year the questions were on Redistricting, Climate with the emphasis on water, and Children’s Mental Health. In addition, each Legislator is asked about their priorities for the coming year.
Our interview team met with Senator Min, Senator Umberg, Assemblywoman Petrie-Norris, and Senator Bate’s representative. Assemblywomen Nugyen and Davis did not respond to our requests for a meeting. Interviews are not recorded, but notes are taken. The Legislator’s responses to the questions can be found in the Member Only section of our website.
