The Highlight of the April 2 2025 Meeting

A presentation by Orange County Fifth District Supervisor, Katrina Foley provided an update on the County’s climate action.  Supervisor Foley marshalled  the drafting and adoption of the Orange County’s first Climate Action Plan, resulting in a number of measures which will significantly reduce carbon emissions from County operated facilities.  She also discussed  the withdrawal of millions of dollars of funding from the Federal government.  League members will find the recorded presentation stimulating and informative.   Here is a link to the 48 minute recording:  LINK
