Immigration Interest Group

Mission: 

The Immigration Interest Group provides both education and advocacy to the Orange
Coast membership. We support the LWV positions that immigration policies
should be responsive to those facing political persecution and that all immigrants should
receive fair treatment under the law.

How We Accomplish Our Mission:

  •  Provide members with information and opportunities for action. 
  •  Distribute red cards with Rapid Response phone numbers to give to people at risk.

  •  Respond to alerts from local, state and national Leagues related to immigration.

How You Can Get Involved:

  •  Join the Immigration Interest Group
  •  Share contacts and information about local groups with similar interests.
  •  Recommend speakers
