Join Our Postcard-Writing Campaign to Get Out the Vote

Help us organize a successful Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaign. Get your Eventbrite tickets today! We are using the Eventbrite platform to manage your requests for postcards.

Each ticket you request will entitle you to collect one set of materials, including 50 customized postcards with prepaid postage plus a list of voter names and addresses. You may request two tickets (100 postcards). Vicki Thompson will receive your requests and contact you with additional instructions. Should you want more postcards, you can make those arrangements with Vicki.

Your job is either to write them all yourself or to organize a virtual writing party to ensure that all the postcards are addressed and mailed—no postcard or postage should be wasted. If you have stay-at-home partners, you know what to do! If you host a virtual postcard-writing party, you can request additional postcards through Vicki.

Target dates for mailing are September 30 through October 30. Studies show that engaging voters “just in time” is more effective than mailing to them in advance. Postcards must go out before the L.A. County Vote Centers open on October 24. Go to Eventbrite to order your postcards.
