We are rolling into July and the beginning of a new year for LWVDV. New Board members will be elected at the Annual Meeting. There will no July Board meeting. An Orientation/Retreat for Board/Leadership is in the planning stages.
We will need additional League volunteers to help gather and publish candidate and measure information in Voters Edge for the November 8, 2022 General Election. Training will be provided.
Our country is at a pivotal moment in our fight for reproductive freedom. A draft opinion shows that the Supreme Court is preparing to overturn Roe v. Wade, eliminating the constitutional right to abortion, which has protected women and pregnant people for nearly 50 years.
