NewsNew Voter Service Project: “Map the Vote Solano"
A new project that Voter Service has launched is called “Map the Vote Solano.” A free app entitled “Map the Vote” shows which households in a neighborhood are not listed with anyone who is registered to vote. The Voter Service committee members are selecting neighborhoods in our communities and mailing postcards to those households encouraging them to register to vote.
We are hoping to cover all communities in the county so your help will be vital to that success. Please:
- Volunteer to address postcards to households in their neighborhood. Please contact Carole Paterson vjocarole [at] yahoo.com and we will deliver the cards to you.
- Donate to cover the cost of postcards and postage. 100 cards with postage costs $44.00. To donate the amount of your choice, please:
> Mail your check, payable to LWV Solano County Education Fund, PO Box 83, Benicia, CA 94510 (donations to the Education Fund are tax-deductible)
