LWV SOLANO YEAR IN REVIEW

In 2024, the League of Women Voters of Solano County achieved significant milestones in promoting voter engagement and civic participation.

Our organization successfully hosted a series of highly attended and well-received candidate forums, providing voters with a clear understanding of key local races and issues.

Additionally, LWV Solano facilitated an informative forum on ballot propositions, offering the community a deeper understanding of the critical measures shaping this year's elections.

A key highlight was our League’s voter registration outreach, which registered over 350 high school and community college students, empowering the next generation of voters. These efforts were bolstered by strong, collaborative partnerships with Solano Community College, the Delta Sigma Theta and Alpha Kappa Alpha sororities, and the American Association of University Women (AAUW). These partnerships helped amplify the League’s impact, ensuring a broad and inclusive reach across the county.

Through these initiatives, LWV Solano demonstrated its unwavering commitment to fostering informed, active, and engaged voters in the community

Our collective efforts have truly made a difference and we thank you all for your continued support.
