Our 2021 Program Planning session will once again put lively and interactive participation into practice! Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference!
 
You'll be actively engaged in our virtual gathering, helping to select the “issues of emphasis” for the upcoming year. These issues will define the direction of LWV Solano County outreach and educational events and your voice and vote are necessary and equal to every other person’s.
 
Why is this meeting important? If LWV Solano County wants to add value to our communities and residents, our outreach and educational events during 2021 and into the future need to be relevant and timely for our Solano County neighbors. When we listen to our neighbors and then focus on what’s important to them, we can increase civic engagement and strengthen local governance. And… subsequently, more people will want to join LWV Solano County!

What we'll be doing at the meeting --

We’ll start our conversations with 3 lists of potential issues:

• An updated list of position statements by the National LWV and LWV California
• The priority list of issues from our program planning session of January 2020
• A consolidated list of issues identified in our recent Listening Project meetings

During our live Zoom deliberations, additional issues can be added. After our introductions and meeting agreements are completed, we’ll all get busy!

• Using Zoom surveys at several points
• Talking with each other in Zoom small groups
• Reporting from small groups back to all participants
• Consolidating priorities toward a list of our three “issues of emphasis” for 2021

Remember, participation is patriotic… it makes the League relevant in Solano County at a time when the issues are critical… and, it’s fun!
