Join with us for the next Zoom meeting in our Community Conversation Series, in partnership with the Contra Costa County Library. Learn the genesis of this important County Board of Supervisors’ resolution declaring racism as a public health hazard and how citizens will participate in the process of achieving health equity in a welcoming and just Contra Costa County.

Our moderator is Shanelle Scales Preston, elected member of the Pittsburg City Council. Expert panelists include County Supervisors John Gioia and Federal Glover, County Health Department Director Anna Roth, newly appointed Chief Equity Officer for the Health Department Gilbert Salinas, and Doug Leich from the Multi-Faith Action Coalition.

After the panel of experts, there will be time for Q&A, using the Zoom Chat feature. Questions for our panelists may be sent in before the program: david.greene [at] library.cccounty.us
