This Team of Officers & Directors will provide our League Chapter with the guidance, planning, organization, coordination & implementation of the events, activities, collaborations and our involvement in the community for 2021 – 2022. Each and every one of them is committed to having a very successful year filled with some of our usual events but also bringing new ideas and perspectives that will speak to our city, county, state and nation’s ever shifting focus.
Your Board’s first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 10th and members will be planning for the remaining year. Already the League is committed to participate in Woodland’s Celebration 150 Years . The Annual Membership Drive will kick-off in September and promises to be active, with recruitment of members in our contiguous rural communities as well Woodland. Students and younger members are on the “Wish you will Join List” too!
President, Karen Urbano, is excited to “get going”, encourages all members, both current and soon to be members, to be involved, volunteer for events, and say “Yes, I will” when asked to participate. It’s much more fun when everyone is involved. Remember, too, that all Board Meetings are open to all members and your ideas and questions are welcome.
