Tuleyome Nature & You Lecture Series: The Creation and Future of the Woodland Regional Park

Thursday, March 25, 2021 - 7:00pm to Friday, March 26, 2021 - 6:45pm

Hello Woodland Sunrisers,

We have a great opportunity to hear the latest, regarding the new Woodland Regional Park that the city is developing.  Relax after dinner this Thursday evening with your beverage of choice and watch a great lecture from Dr. Lars Anderson.  We will also get to "see" Dr. Anderson at our club Zoom meeting on April 8th, where he will be our featured program speaker.

At 7:00 PM March 25, Tuleyome’s 4th Thursday monthly “Nature & You” lecture series presents Dr. Lars Anderson, Tuleyome board member speaking about the Woodland Regional Park.  After years of planning, the Woodland Regional Park, a former land fill, is coming to life. On the corner County Roads 102 and 25, not far from Costco, the park is not yet open to the public. Opening has been delayed by the pandemic but work on the park has continued. There is now a concrete walking path and a sculpted wetlands area. Soon there will be both permanent and seasonal water, tree and sedge plantings and more.

The lecture will be presented via Zoom and you must register here to attend - http://tuleyome.org/events/2021-nature-and-you-lecture-wrp/

Registered participants will be sent an email with login information Wednesday evening. If you register after Wednesday, you will be sent the login link approximately 1 hour before the lecture. If you're registered, you will also be sent a link to a recording after the lecture even if they were not able to attend.
