Dear League Members,

Your Board is excited to announce our 2021 event is “A League Spring Series: DEMOCRACY WORKing…in Woodland" — an informative three part series providing the community an opportunity to meet Woodland’s newly elected members of the Board of Supervisors, City Council & School Board. This Series is our fundraiser for the year as our traditional “Bean Soup Luncheon” could not be held. Each month’s event in March, April & May will include a delivered Box Lunch prepared fresh by a different local vendor, AS WELL AS A PIECE OF THE LEAGUE'S TRADITIONAL, FAMOUS AND FANTASTIC CARROT CAKE BY MARY ANN!! This special surprise will accompany each lunch!!!

The year 2020 is behind us and your League has adapted to the world of Zoom as our new communication tool. Celebrating 2021, we chose to adapted our yearly fundraiser into a new shape and size. This accommodation will allow us to continue our mission of providing information to encourage informed and active participation in our community. Each month will be a virtual presentation carried LIVE for ticket holders. The recorded version will be available on your Leagues’ website and Facebook page and carried on local cable Channel 21.

We are looking forward to this unique event and to be successful we ask for each member to engage in as many ways as possible. One way to start is purchasing or selling one (1) Series Ticket. Individual event tickets are available with a Box Lunch & Carrot Cake OR without lunch (or Carrot Cake). Please consider becoming a Sponsor as we will list sponsor’s names, businesses or organizations in our Series Program and our Box Lunch bags. Additionally, sponsors will be listed in our VOTER, on our website and Facebook page and in articles published locally. Consider, too, purchasing an individual or Series ticket as a gift to a friend or potential member, an excellent introduction to our community involvement.

Individual Event Tickets: $20.00 includes a delivered Box Lunch with CARROT CAKE

$10.00 without Box Lunch or Carrot Cake
Sponsorships: $30.00 includes all the publicity opportunities listed above
